School Adjustment Counselor

Mrs. Fitch is the school adjustment counselor for Wildwood Early Childhood Center. She is a wonderful resource to students, families, and staff. Some of her services include:

Students- Provide individual, small group counseling-lunch bunch (social skills, friendship, changing families, understanding feelings and strategies to help manage emotions), facilitate social/emotional classroom activities, lead school-wide community meetings, provide crisis intervention/conflict resolution

Parents- Maintain communication with families and outside service providers, help connect with community resources, assist with transitioning to school

Staff- Collaborate and consults as part of a multi-disciplinary team on topics related to social/emotional development and mental health issues, develops strategies and coordinates with staff to utilize strategies within the classroom to enhance student learning
